I admit it. I geeked out when I heard the Pixies were coming to NZ.
I'm in love with a girl. Well her music anyway.
When I saw this, I thought of the painting by JW Waterhouse of the Lady of Shallot. The painting was based on a poem by Tennyson, something I read a long time ago. I remember finding the picture and begging my mother to buy it for me. I always thought the story of the lady was so sad and beautiful at the same time. Unrequianted love and all that. Proving sorrow can be pretty too.
